When we initially met for the consultation, I was blown away by their professionalism, creativity, and ability to really understand my vision for the space. Choosing Axel as our interior designer for our new house was one of the best decisions we made! He really exceeded our expectations and understood our needs and tastes very well. I was impressed by a few things: 1) Space planning - Axel gave really good ideas to help maximise the layout of our house to fit the needs of our family. This was the main reason we went with him - he was practical and attuned with the client's needs. 2) Design - Axel has a good eye for design! I love the warm tones of my house, which makes everything so cosy, and I look forward to going home every day. Axel's design eye also made it such that we gave him pretty much free rein to choose the colours for the house. He proposed a bold colour for our master bedroom wall - something that we totally wouldn't have picked and it looks super good! I also love the lighting! 3) Taobao service - We also engaged Earth because they have someone who can help you order and make delivery arrangements on Taobao for you. Just give them a list of what you need, some sample designs you like, and they will help you look (and also look through the reviews to make sure that you're buying the better quality ones). 4) Workmanship - The workmanship is also pretty good. I'm no expert, but the masonry folks did a good job. The detailing looks very clean and refined. So thanks Axel for turning our house into such a lovely home. It was great working with you!

When we first met at his office, I was impressed as it was very well designed and organized. It seemed like a showroom but was actually a three-storey office. During the discussion, he listened to my ideas and needs very carefully. I was very pleased with the questions he asked, as they addressed issues I had not thought of. In addition, he also asked if I would be open to his ideas and changes that would eventually help create a more perfect house for me. I have met a lot of IDs, but Edwin impressed me the most by giving his creative ideas and awesome design. The renovation process over the past 7 weeks was very smooth. Edwin kept me updated with the latest progress and suggested items to buy to beautify my house. At one point, I had trouble getting a bank cheque on time, but due to the trust between us, he allowed his contractors to complete the job and deliver it to me on time. We found Earth Interior by chance, really. We just landed our dream house, and the next step was to turn it into a dream home. There were so many ID options out there, and being the kiasu Singaporean I am, I contacted each one that caught my fancy. Plenty got back to me, and we met them all. On the day we met Axel (he was the last one we met), he really impressed us with his proposed design. We had met other IDs, and though they managed to produce wonderful designs, none quite managed to blend practicality with design as well as Axel. It was a difficult choice, but his proposal by far managed to capture the essence of what we wanted in our house. With his experience, he was able to propose practical designs that made our day-to-day home maintenance easy without compromising on design. As working adults, we wanted a fuss-free home that looked elegant! Axel's proposal gave us a wonderful home design with bold colours for our walls and a rustic but sleek kitchen area. The warm lights lend a cosy feel to the house. We weren't too picky with the home design and pretty much let Axel go wild. Some of his proposed designs were not something we realised we needed, and it really helped that he anticipated them and proposed them to us. Some examples include his proposed tiles for the toilets. Going with rougher tiles gave us a better grip and made it less likely to slip. He also proposed a drawer directly under the kitchen sink to utilise the space, and another practical proposal was to have a table top above our washing machine to give us space to fold our laundry. The space next to the pipes in the kitchen was also converted to storage space. We really appreciate his eye for design and his honest opinions on what works and what doesn't. The quality of the workmanship was a little touch-and-go. Some parts were really well made, but there were also some parts that needed quite a bit of rework. But through it all, Axel was patient with our requests and arranged for the rectification works to be done. He was also on-site to ensure the rectification works were done properly. We've been living in our dream home for 2.5 months now, and we always feel happy when we step into our house. Axel's vision gave us a home we can be proud of.
